› A yarn plant with dozens of production lines and no live data from any machine. I'm wiring it up line by line into one plant server: drives, temperature controllers and energy meters, Danish, Chinese and Indian kit, some of it from 2005. Next comes an MES that shows what each line made and why it stopped.
› A university materials lab spent researcher time making atomically thin samples by hand. I wrote the software that hands the fiddly pick, press and peel cycle to a desktop robot arm, with a simulator to rehearse a run. Students use it now; grading the results under the microscope is next.
› A CRM for a medical equipment dealer. Three regional stock systems merge into it every night, and an assistant in the browser and in Teams flags deals gone quiet.
› A company whose numbers lived in a pile of spreadsheets, a timesheet tool and a CRM. One place to read them now, and an assistant in Slack that answers from all three.
